American Benefits Exchange was originally founded in 2008 as IHC Financial Group (IHCFG).  IHCFG was a wholly owned subsidiary of Madison National Life (MNL) & Independence Holding Company (IHC), a publicly traded company out of New York City, NY.

2016

In February 2016, IHC Financial Group was purchased from IHC & MNL by Brian Pearson, Val Majewski, & Mark Saccomanno.  IHCFG’s name was changed to American Benefits Exchange (ABX).

In November 2020, American Benefits Exchange was acquired by AmeriLife out of Clearwater, FL.  AmeriLife is a privately held company and a leader in developing, marketing, distributing, & administering life & health insurance, annuities, & retirement planning solutions.
