Brian S. Pearson is President & CEO at American Benefits Exchange, LLC. Pearson has served in multiple capacities in the insurance industry for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining the executive leadership team, he owned and operated Pearson & Associates which specialized in servicing active duty military members worldwide until joining Madison National Life Insurance Company, Inc. in 2000 as National Sales Manager. In 2004 Pearson was promoted to Vice President and Director of Agencies and eventually became a SVP and Chief Marketing Officer. Pearson lead the development of specialty markets for Madison National Life which included military, federal and state government employees while overseeing the distribution of insurance and annuity products, which supplement existing government benefit plans. In addition, special emphasis on final expense and marketing to school teachers and small businesses. In 2008, he founded the IHC Financial Group, Inc. which is an IMO and a wholly owned subsidiary of Madison National Life Insurance Company. In 2016, Pearson along with an executive team of investors purchased IHC Financial Group, Inc. and re-branded the firm as the American Benefits Exchange, LLC where he now serves as President & CEO. While serving in this capacity, he is responsible for recruiting, training and overseeing licensed field agents across the United States and directs the development of relationships with various insurance carriers, government personnel, unions, associations and employee organizations. In addition to his executive leadership at American Benefits Exchange, Pearson serves as Auxiliary Coach with the Round Rock Express, AAA Affiliate of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and is an active Board Member at Celebration Church. He received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Pre-Law Studies at the University of Cincinnati in 1990.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mark Saccomanno attended Baylor University where he acquired a BBA in Finance and Insurance. Currently he is an active Life and Health Insurance Producer and General Agent, as well as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ABX. While at Baylor, Saccomanno played baseball from 1999-2003, and was selected in the 23rd round of the 2003 amateur draft by the Houston Astros, where he played 7 seasons. In 2008 he made his major league debut with Houston becoming only the 22nd player to hit a home run on their first pitch in the majors, and the first player in the history of Major League Baseball to do so as a pinch hitter.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing at American Benefits Exchange, LLC, Majewski’s responsibility is to assist in building agencies by utilizing various marketing strategies with the ultimate goal of providing growth and support to field agents. Val has been a licensed insurance agent since 2009 and began his insurance career with Bankers Life & Casualty dealing mostly with Medicare supplement, long-term care, and final expense insurance. Majewski joined the team at American Benefits Exchange after playing 11 seasons as a professional baseball player, spending one season with the Baltimore Orioles in 2004. He also played in the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Oakland Athletics, and Texas Rangers organizations. He originally attended Rutgers University and studied Mechanical Engineering. Val received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management from the University of Phoenix.
Regional Director of Sales & Marketing
Robert Lee, MBA, CLTC has served in the risk planning market since early 2000. Considered an ‘advisor to the advisor,’ Rob serves hundreds of advisors and thousands of their clients throughout the Eastern United States. He strategizes with firms, advisors and agencies to educate and engage their clients about the need and benefits of proper risk planning. Rob’s personal mission is to inspire financial professionals to: 1) Take control of risk management opportunities, 2) Plan their communications with their clients, 3) Assess what gaps may exist in clients’ personal and business goals. Rob attended Ashland University where he acquired his MBA in Finance & Business Management. Currently he is an active Life & Health Insurance Producer and General Agent, as well as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing at ABX. He married his college sweetheart (Jackie) in 1997 and they have four beautiful daughters. In his downtime Rob enjoys coaching softball with his 4 daughters and volunteering at his local church.
National Director of Medicare Sales
Stella Hattox is the National Director of Medicare Sales. Stella, being bi-lingual is a great resource to utilize in our Spanish markets. Stella has had an extensive career in the Medicare Sales and Support to agents and clients alike. She has been on assignments within Medicare corporate offices and in the field with marketing teams. Being a Front Runner and Top Producer several years in a row, Stella is available to educate and assist in steps needed to make agents successful via training with marketing tools and strategies. Her experience and knowledge span over 20 years in the Medicare business. She dedicates her first line of business to her church and her family. She is extremely dedicated and takes pride in her volunteer work with her personal manager: Tim Hattox.
Danae Clark is Marketing Assistant at American Benefits Exchange, LLC. As Marketing Assistant, she works with management and financial professionals to implement strategic communication plans and marketing initiatives in support of business development, brand management, and competitive positioning goals. Danae holds a Bachelor of Management degree from Texas State University- San Marcos.
Yahaira Houston is a Contracting Specialist for American Benefits Exchange, LLC. While serving in the licensing and contracting department, she assists agents throughout the appointment process while working with a variety of carriers. Yahaira also monitors pending business and provides additional case management. Finally, Yahaira is also heavily involved in the oversight and administration of the lead generation and distribution for our proprietary federal market lead program. She helps with content proofreading on all marketing material and announcements. Houston is bilingual in English and Spanish.
