Brian S. Pearson is President & CEO at American Benefits Exchange, LLC. Pearson has served in multiple capacities in the insurance industry for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining the executive leadership team, he owned and operated Pearson & Associates which specialized in servicing active duty military members worldwide until joining Madison National Life Insurance Company, Inc. in 2000 as National Sales Manager. In 2004 Pearson was promoted to Vice President and Director of Agencies and eventually became a SVP and Chief Marketing Officer. Pearson lead the development of specialty markets for Madison National Life which included military, federal and state government employees while overseeing the distribution of insurance and annuity products, which supplement existing government benefit plans. In addition, special emphasis on final expense and marketing to school teachers and small businesses. In 2008, he founded the IHC Financial Group, Inc. which is an IMO and a wholly owned subsidiary of Madison National Life Insurance Company. In 2016, Pearson along with an executive team of investors purchased IHC Financial Group, Inc. and re-branded the firm as the American Benefits Exchange, LLC where he now serves as President & CEO. While serving in this capacity, he is responsible for recruiting, training and overseeing licensed field agents across the United States and directs the development of relationships with various insurance carriers, government personnel, unions, associations and employee organizations. In addition to his executive leadership at American Benefits Exchange, Pearson serves as Auxiliary Coach with the Round Rock Express, AAA Affiliate of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and is an active Board Member at Celebration Church. He received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Pre-Law Studies at the University of Cincinnati in 1990.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mark Saccomanno attended Baylor University where he acquired a BBA in Finance and Insurance. Currently he is an active Life and Health Insurance Producer and General Agent, as well as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ABX. While at Baylor, Saccomanno played baseball from 1999-2003, and was selected in the 23rd round of the 2003 amateur draft by the Houston Astros, where he played 7 seasons. In 2008 he made his major league debut with Houston becoming only the 22nd player to hit a home run on their first pitch in the majors, and the first player in the history of Major League Baseball to do so as a pinch hitter.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing at American Benefits Exchange, LLC, Majewski’s responsibility is to assist in building agencies by utilizing various marketing strategies with the ultimate goal of providing growth and support to field agents. Val has been a licensed insurance agent since 2009 and began his insurance career with Bankers Life & Casualty dealing mostly with Medicare supplement, long-term care, and final expense insurance. Majewski joined the team at American Benefits Exchange after playing 11 seasons as a professional baseball player, spending one season with the Baltimore Orioles in 2004. He also played in the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Oakland Athletics, and Texas Rangers organizations. He originally attended Rutgers University and studied Mechanical Engineering. Val received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management from the University of Phoenix.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Corbin Rayburn is Director of Marketing & Sales for American Benefits Exchange, LLC. Rayburn will be responsible for providing agent support to ABX brokers with special emphasis on agency building, recruiting, underwriting and sales in the areas of final expense, medicare supplements, IUL’s, and worksite products. Rayburn helps our brokers build financial abundance for themselves, their clients and their families. Rayburn is also a licensed life and health broker. Rayburn was a collegiate baseball letterman in 2005 before graduating with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Government and Business from the University of Texas at Austin. He comes from several years in the insurance industry, including Principal Advisor of Rayburn & Associates.
Director of Sales and Market Development
Jerry Wright is Regional Sales Manager for American Benefits Exchange, LLC and brings extensive experience in organizational structuring, business building and naturally, marketing and sales. During 2000-2004, Wright was the Vice President of Sales for Gold Star Insurance, LLC where he identified an underserved, untapped client base in the Native American gaming industry. Jerry would meet with tribal leaders and identify unique product needs. He would then research, locate and partner with a carrier to meet the specific policy structure and benefit requirements. In 2004, Jerry founded his own business, Save Phace, Inc. and grew it into a $28M entity before selling in 2017. He negotiated agreements with and managed 35+ customer accounts including Disney, Marvel, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s and others. More recently, Wright started RetireCo Texoma where he identified and penetrated the over 65 Senior Market with complimentary products and services from Top A Rated Companies in their respective fields using a proprietary system uncovering and identifying multiple client needs.
Regional Vice President of Specialty Markets
Todd Puffer is Regional Vice President of Specialty Markets at American Benefits Exchange, LLC. Todd began his career as Corporate Operations Manager for a National Casino Development Company. Within 10 years, he raised over $9 million on six Casino projects around the US. Once the funds were raised, he oversaw the development and opening of each Casino. He began his career in Insurance Sales in 2010 working for a General Agency in Southern California. Within 2 years, he grew his team to 350 agents. In 2014, he moved into working with more alternative distribution channels in the insurance space. He currently partners with many RIA’s, Independent Financial Advisors and Property and Casualty Insurance Agencies as well as independent insurance agents.
Danae Clark is Marketing Assistant at American Benefits Exchange, LLC. As Marketing Assistant, she works with management and financial professionals to implement strategic communication plans and marketing initiatives in support of business development, brand management, and competitive positioning goals. Danae holds a Bachelor of Management degree from Texas State University- San Marcos.
Yahaira Houston is a Contracting Specialist for American Benefits Exchange, LLC. While serving in the licensing and contracting department, she assists agents throughout the appointment process while working with a variety of carriers. Yahaira also monitors pending business and provides additional case management. Finally, Yahaira is also heavily involved in the oversight and administration of the lead generation and distribution for our proprietary federal market lead program. She helps with content proofreading on all marketing material and announcements. Houston is bilingual in English and Spanish.
