I grew up in Greenfield, IN and was transplanted to Texas when I was a teenager. I graduated from Big Spring High School in 1988. In 2008, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in accounting. In 2010, I completed my master’s degree in business. I have been leadership and director rolls in business for the past 19 years. My husband, Dan, and I have a combined 5 children and step-children. I decided to pursue a career in the insurance industry because of my own personal experience with my father. At age 67, my father suffered a massive stroke and needed long-term care. My mother was unable to care for him. My father never planned, and had no long-term care coverage. Something like this can take a toll on a family. It is now my personal mission to help families be prepared for the unexpected and educate them on the options available.
